A Deacon is a member of the church who is primarily intended for the care, compassion, and loving support of members and visitors to our congregation. The office of Deacon is set forth in Scripture as one of sympathy, witness, and service after the example of Jesus Christ. The Deacons minister to those in need, to the sick, and to any who may be in distress within and beyond our community of faith.
