The Power to Freely Pardon

Continuing a series on forgiveness, when Jesus teaches and commands us to forgive, he also gives his disciples the power of the Holy Spirit after he is resurrected. With this power, Jesus reveals to his disciples that ‘whoever they forgive will be forgiven, and whoever they do not forgive will not be forgiven. This empowerment reaches us today, and while we are taught to forgive, we also have the power to withhold forgiveness as well.
