I grew up with a fascination of airplanes and committed to serve the Lord through aviation when I was 12 years old. My wife, Rachael, fell in love with flying at the age of 13 when she flew on a commercial airliner for the first time. She would later commit her life to missionary aviation when she was 17 years old. We met in college, married, finished college, paid off debt and left the USA in 2012 for Togo, West Africa via language school in France. A year later I was diagnosed with cancer and we spent a year in the USA as I received treatments and recovered. We arrived in Togo at the end of 2014 and found the aircraft we were to fly was in need of major repair. We shipped the airplane to JAARS in Waxhaw, NC and spent the next two years rebuilding the airplane while also realizing God’s leading to join Wycliffe Bible Translators. In August of 2017 we arrived in Cameroon where we are presently serving as pilot/mechanics. We desire to use aviation to take the Gospel faster and farther.
